It can take a pro as little as 3 minutes on some vehicles, especially the Prius! In addition, criminals are being further incentivized to steal valuables by the current trend of going light on crime.

Parking lots, work, schools, churches, shopping centers, employee parking, secured garages, even downtown street parking. In our neighborhood driveways, day and night. These thieves have no fear, and there is little or no recourse. 

Most vehicles have 1 Catalytic Converter. Some have 2 or 3. For example, most Ford F-Series have 2 Catalytic Converters, and the Toyota Tundra has 3 Catalytic Converters.

Check with your insurance carrier as policies vary. Usually comprehensive coverage does cover the replacement, but you may need to pay a deductible. If you have liability only coverage, most likely it will not be covered. Claims on your insurance policy often require a deductible and may cause an increase in your premium depending on your insurance company, policy, and previous or future claims.

Once purchased, a physical copy of the Converter Protect Product Limited Warranty with your information will be mailed to you through USPS. It will include the registration number we provide, and stencils with application instructions for permanently marking your Catalytic Converter(s). In the event the markings from the stencils fail to prevent the Catalytic Converter(s) from being stolen and recovered within thirty (30) days the Warrantor agrees to pay the selected benefit of the Limited Warranty Plan purchased. 

You have a choice of a thirty-six (36) month term or a sixty (60) month term. If no selection is made, a thirty-six (36) month term will apply. 

When you purchase the Converter Protect Product Limited Warranty, you have a choice of two plans. If no selection is made, you will receive coverage under Limited Warranty Plan A.

Limited Warranty Plan A: Covers you for up to two (2) Catalytic Converters and up to a four thousand dollar ($4,000.00) maximum benefit.

Limited Warranty Plan B: Covers you for up to four (4) Catalytic Converters and up to a six thousand dollar ($6,000.00) maximum benefit.

No, the Converter Protect Product Limited Warranty does not cover rental cars or alternative transportation of any kind.

Instructions for filing a claim will be on your Converter Protect Product Limited Warranty   Registration form that you will receive in the mail. These instructions are also listed below.

Claims Procedure

To qualify for coverage under this Limited Warranty, the following Claim Procedure(s) must be followed:

1) If Your Catalytic Converter(s) is stolen, You must file a claim online with Administrator within thirty (30) days or Your claim will be denied.

2) You must provide Administrator with a copy of the police report You obtained regarding the theft.

3) You must provide Administrator with this Limited Warranty.

4) You must obtain prior authorization before any replacements are made. Any work

completed without prior authorization will be denied.
 

Replacements must be installed by an authorized repair facility. You MUST obtain prior authorization from the Warrantor before any replacements are made. Any work completed without prior authorization will be denied.

Exclusions: You are not entitled to recover from us any consequential damages, damage to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits or income, or any other incidental damages including total vehicle theft. Catalytic Converter thefts prior to the purchase date of this Limited Warranty will not be covered. 

This Converter Protect Product Limited Warranty is not transferable.

The Registration Number from your Converter Protect Product Limited Warranty is permanently imprinted onto Your Catalytic Converter(s); therefore, this Limited Warranty is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Yes, you can purchase this Converter Protect Product Limited Warranty for someone else. The information on the Limited Warranty Registration form must reflect that party’s information. You will use the vehicle owner’s name and that vehicle’s VIN.
